The Illuminator 15WU/8741T00 from Scanspeak is a 5" (13cm) Mid-Woofer that impresses with special features. It has an underhung voice coil with neodymium drive, which, along with copper caps, ensures very low distortion. A patented sandwich paper diaphragm and a low-loss linear suspension complement the system. The exceptionally large linear displacement and the patented symmetrical drive (SD-3) also contribute to excellent performance. This makes it an outstanding choice for precise sound experience.
